Few hundred species, of which we offer only a few. All have toxic sap which is harmful if it gets onto your eye or soft skin/mucous membranes. Other than this, Euphorbia in general are easy to grow and very heat tolerant. They like moderate amounts of water and fertiliser to grow well. Generally speaking, they prefer bright light rather than full, hot sun. Many Euphorbia will tolerate indoor light levels as long as they get reasonably bright condiions, like near a window. Keep drier when under lower light than when in outdoors to prevent root rot.
